Calling all University of Tokyo writers and creatives!
THE THEME for Issue 13 (April 2024) of the Komaba Times will be BELONGING.
KOMABA TIMES is an English-language student-led magazine; a space for members of the University of Tokyo community to create and express themselves through essays, poetry, prose, illustration, photography, and more. As long as you’re at UTokyo (at any level, at any of the campuses, not just Komaba), you’re welcome to join the team. Our prompt is open for your interpretation!
WE INVITE YOU TO CONTRIBUTE! Please fill in the form (https://forms.gle/5iMfXvySSwTUxkus6) to tell us about yourself and what you want to contribute. After you submit the form, you will be contacted by a member of the KT editorial team. Submissions for Issue 13 close on December 25th, 2023.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS TO THE MANAGERIAL BOARD. Should you be interested in taking up a role as an editor, social media manager, print copy designer, webmaster, bilingual translator and more, please contact us in the email below.

KOMABA TIMESは、東京大学のメンバーが、エッセイ、詩、散文、イラスト、写真などを創造して、自分を表現するためのスペースである、学生主導の英文雑誌です。KTのチームは、東京大学に在籍している方であれば、どなたでも参加大歓迎です。キャンパスや所属、学年不問ですBELONGINGというテーマは、あなたなりの解釈で自由に表現できます。
